Requirements

• Be trade qualified, or have at least 5 years of relevant experience for the position
• Be proficient in the use of metal working machines as well as hand and power tools
• Be proficient in general fabrication and welding, including drawing interpretation
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy, finish and timeliness
• Site work  including site welding and steel erection
• Be able to pass a welding test to AS2980 in 3G position in both MIG and stick welding
• Inspect and check completed work – own as well as others
• Paperwork – Accurate and timely completion of timesheets, JSA’s and reports where require

• A current drivers licence 
• Other high risk licences, such as EWP, Forklift, dogging etc
• Ability to weld other metals, such as stainless steel and aluminium 
• Sheet metal fabrication ability
